#Homeschooling the kids gave us the opportunity to eat daily meals together. Meal prep and eating times were learning opportunities disguised as a meal.

As little kids, they learned to work the gas oven and stove , graduating to sharp knives and then other kitchen appliances.

By middle-school age, they could all prepare a meal and we all enjoyed this time together.
.
Now they are grown and gone, so the moments we share around the table are rich and special.
.
These last few days have been full of conversation, laughter and building stonger bonds. We are indeed blessed to enjoy these moments with our children and the people they love the most. Ray and I sit and watch them as they tell us about their lives, stories of their work and friends, and we just watch in awe of it all.
