I'm not sure where that article got that information, but help us God if that is true!
If indeed our children are not learning about these horrible events in history, why they happen and what they did in society, how can they learn from them? How can these horrible events be avoided if they are not taught and explained?
If that is the case, then they are bound to happen again.
That's basic education.
Children learn from experience and from observation.
If they are not to experience what happened that day, they need to observe us, the ones who did.
Take some time today to remember those 3000 lives lost, what caused that horrible event, and what we can do to never experience that again
